Chardas Cattery - FAQ

You will find below a number of question we are asked on a regular basis regarding our Cattery. If you do not find the answer you are looking for, please feel free to contact us, we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Can I view your Cattery at anytime?
You are more than welcome come and view but please contact us to make an appointment in advance during our normal opening hours.

What if I’m not happy with something?
If you are not happy, please let us know so that we may address your concerns as quickly as possible.

My cat has a mealtime routine for health reasons, can you honor this?
Meal times are twice each day, but if your cat needs small meals often this can be catered for, simply let us know at the time of booking, or when you and your cat arrives at our cattery

Are your Cattery Chalets cleaned regularly?
Our chalets are cleaned, disinfected and sprayed with a feline friendly virucide prior to your cats arrival and then freshened on a daily basis.

Is there a limit to the maximum number of cats per chalet?
Cats from the same family can share a Chalet up to a maximum of 6 subject to availability.

Can they go outside when they want to?
They have an outside run area and built in cat flaps so they are free to come and go as they please, day and night

Should I bring bedding or toys with me?
Freshly laundered cosy bedding is supplied but please feel free to bring along your cats favorite toys and blankets as the familiar smells will help to reassure and comfort your cat.

 

If we are delayed collecting her will she be able to stay in the same Chalet?
If you are delayed for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. We will try to leave your cat in the same chalet where booking commitments allow.

My cat is currently on medication will you be able to administer these to her?
Medication such as tablets and liquids can all be given during their stay but we are not able to administer injections.
